Google’s Clock app can now wake you up with music from Spotify

The majority of us use our phones for alarm clocks in the morning, but standard alarm sounds may be so&hellip, alarming. If you experience the use of Google clock application, you will be happy to hear that you could now wake up to your favourite tunes on Spotify. That is right, Google is adding Spotify integration into its own Clock application this week. Following your phone gets an update, you will see a brand new Spotify tab at the Clock application, next to the “‘Sounds” tab. Swipe over to this tab, and you may select whichever songs or playlists you want to wake up to.

After switching off your alarm clock, you will have the option to change off the music for good, or maintain listening during your day. That sounds pretty easy. The best part? . You do not even need a premium subscription for this to work. Both Spotify premium and free users may wake up to their most favored songs with this new integration. Spotify support will roll out worldwide this week at the Play Store, and will work on all devices running Android Lollipop and above. This is exciting news for anyone who does not like waking up to normal, alert sounds, however it is intriguing that Google is adding Spotify support rather than Play your own Music or YouTube Music programs. We’re trusting the company adds more music solutions later on, but for the time being, this is a fantastic start.
